As we approach the autumn equinox and move into Fall, what needs to be given attention in order to continue forward with real presence? What have you gleaned from the sunshine, sweat, long days, and energy of Summer; and what do you want to cultivate more of in this budding, in-between space, in this time ripe for self-inquiry and tending?

Writing is one of the ways I get clear on how I'm doing, what I need, and where I'm headed; it's also one of the ways I embrace the heat of the unknown and the tenderness of in-between periods of life, both seasonally and internally.

In this two hour workshop, we'll explore how to listen to what seasons ask of us, take stock of ways to tend to ourselves amid seasonal shifts, and lean into writing as a practice of noticing & a method of curating clarity, self-knowing, and openness to what is ahead as we transition toward a new season.

Tentative outline:
The workshop will begin with a meditation to get us centered in the space. Lisa will spend time teaching/sharing, guide participants through various solo writing exercises/practices centered around the workshop's themes, and leave space for questions and shares at the end.

Following the workshop, Lisa will email out a recording of the workshop, a PDF guide with further resources and practices, and a writing playlist to buoy you through the fall season.

COMMON QUESTIONS:

How big will the workshop be?
I'm leaving enrollment open to all folks who want to sign up; I would estimate based on previous offerings that the group will be 50+ people. It will be less of a small, intimate vibe and more of a larger, casual group setting.

What can I expect to get from the workshop?
I'll be combining my work as a writer with my experience as a therapist to provide a nurturing, open environment in which participants can get curious about themselves, utilize writing as a method of self-exploration, and cultivate a batch of prompts, practices, and tools to lean on during the transition into the fall season.

Do I need to be a "writer"?
Not at all; although I'd love to explore what makes someone a "writer" and what doesn't. This workshop is for anyone looking to explore themselves and the world through the practice of writing, which asks us to be or become nothing but who we already are.

Are there sliding scale spots available?
If you aren't able to pay the full cost ($75), please use the code REFLECT20 at checkout for 20% off.

Will there be small breakouts?
There won't be small breakout groups in this workshop; there will be space to share and connect in the chat, and time at the end for questions/curiosities.

Will we share our writing/get feedback in the workshop? We won't share writing in the workshop -- it will be more of a personal, quiet exploration. That said, I am considering opening up some guidance sessions in the fall for 1:1 support and exploration, if folks are interested. More to come.

Will I get a recording for the workshop if I don't attend live?
Yes! Everyone who registers will get the recording, PDF guide, and playlist following the workshop.

Do I need to be on video?
No! I love seeing your faces, but you are more than welcome to keep your video off and join from bed if you'd like; the point is for you to be comfortable and present, not for you to perform or be "on". The experience is for you.

When does enrollment close?
Enrollment will be open until Friday, September 22nd.

Will you be offering multi-week workshops again?
Yes! I hope to offer To Write, To Be, my three-week workshop, again in the late fall.

Any further questions? Email me at lisaolivera@gmail.com and I will respond within 48 hours. Hope to see you there!
